Sunday Papers & more.

Sunday is of course the day when many pick up the papers to be astounded by what goes on in the world.

It was reported in the Sunday Times today that a police officer in Nottinghamshire is being investigated for comments he made about a local criminal being questioned in another room. The copper referred to the criminal as "pondlife" (a fairly mild insult we think) and his words were picked up by covert cameras installed at the station for other reasons.

The criminal did not hear the comment but because he may have been offended if he had heard it, the officer is under investigation.

What complete and utter bollocks!

The legion forces of the politically correct have once agin truimphed over British common sense! It is time this stupidity was brought to an end.

What about some music?

News from Tom Toomey in Africa
Tom sent us a message yesterday to say that the bore hole that Music For Africa was raising money for is now complete! A fantastic piece of news for all those who helped and contributed. We take running water for granted here but in other places this is a major change in life.

Have a great day
