Monday. Not much music but some sharp business

Well tonight your choice of entertainment might be limited to whatever you find on the TV or at the video rental shop; apart from the Open Mic Night @ The Westgate in Taunton!

Some off topic news! Watch out for this.
We so nearly got scammed; a company phones up and says would we like to advertise in a local Police crime prevention publication going to 160,000 homes? Sounds interesting we say. How much does it cost? The price seems fair so we go ahead and book the advert. Then the bill arrives in the post, something doen't quite stack up, the company has no web site, the address is actual a mail drop address and most tellingly of all the local Police (Avon & Somerset public relations) have never heard of the company! Alarm bells are ringing.

We then phone the company again; "oh it's actually a diary for sale to the whole Police force across the UK". Order cancelled! If you have dealings with Orbis Publishing of 181 - 183 New Chester Road, New Ferry Wirral then be very, very careful that you are actually getting what you think you are getting.

Have a scam free day

Thanks very much for the warning. I nearly got scammed by them this morning but I did a quick google just in case and found your post.

They rang me some months back. Very similar scenario. Claimed they had some kind of relationship with us (they hadn't) and sent a bill for £1k. I reported them to Trading Standards. Seems from Google that this has been happening for years.
