Friday 18th

So once again Franz Ferdinand has scooped the awards, this time at the NME award show last night. The best British band award went to The Libertines. The lead singer of Pete Doherty's former band said his "heart goes out" to the troubled rock star who was too unwell to attend one of the biggest awards in the music calendar.
