The calm before the storm?

New Year's eve is tomorrow and once again the Police have promised to 'crack down' on anti- social behaviour. With their new ability to issue on the spot fines of £80 for being a prat, some people (not you of course!) may find the 31st an expensive night out!

If you have been following the news of the earthquake and resulting tidal wave in Asia then please consider sending any amount of money to help. You can give at any Post Office, by phone on 0870 60 60 900 or online at http://www.dec.org.uk. Oh and if the lines are busy or the web site stalled, try again later.

The Phoenix Hotel in Chard has a busy January lined up (unlike many other venues).

A really crappy picture of the Phoenix Hotel in Chard

awesome I put-off buying this for months, despite positive reviews. I tried every free weather app going and eventually decided to take the plunge. Glad I did - easily the most customisable weather widget and clock on caftan and the skins are awesome!
