Swanage Blues Fest This Weekend

The 5th Swanage Blues Festival happens this weekend with the music starting this evening. The all the gigs are free (although donations are very welcome).

This acts this year include:
The Guv'nors, The Innes Sibun Band, Native Tung, The Blue Healers, Tim Royce, Arecibo, The Jives, Tony McPhee & Joanna Deacon, Pete Saunders, Roy Mette, Robin Bibi, JC & Angelina Grimshaw, Crosscut Saw, and Sonny Black.

The event is based in Swanage (less than an hours drive away), it is a lovely seaside town - compact, friendly and reasonably priced. Most of the venues are within a few yards of each other and you'll be welcome in all of them. Admission is totally free.

This event depends on donations from enthusiasts, so please give what you can and support the raffle! Raffle Prizes include two tickets to The Blues Band at Mr Kyps, four tickets to Ben Waters Big Band at Lulworth Castle, open-ended tickets to both Blues Nights and Moreton Blues & Roots Club, plus superb CDs and a magazine subscription to Blues Matters!
