The Slackers play Yeovil!

The Slackers are a seven piece band that hails from New York City. Formed in 1991, the band has been experimenting with mixes of ska, reggae, soul, swing, garage rock, and jazz for over 10 years. By following their muses of the Skatalites, the Beatles, Bob Marley, Lee Perry, Bob Dylan, and Curtis Mayfield, the Slackers have created a niche all their own in contemporary music.

The Slackers coming to Yeovil tonight!

Tonight they play at Flicks bar in Yeovil and if you are quick you can probably still pick up a ticket from Acorn Records (also in Yeovil) or visit www.seetickets.com but there are only about 100 left. There are unlikely to be any left on the door tonight!

The Slackers have a great web site where you can also listen to some of their music go to www.theslackers.com.
