Want to see what happens inside 10 Downing Street?
ONDON (AFP) - Britain launched a virtual tour of Prime Minister Tony Blair's Downing Street office, giving web surfers a glimpse into the lives of the people who work behind the country's most famous front door.

The tour includes images of the Cabinet table, the Grand Staircase adorned with portraits of every prime minister, and the entrance hall, and can be accessed on the prime minister's website -- www.pm.gov.uk.

"This is an excellent way of showing the tremendous history of this building," Blair said in comments posted on the website.

"I feel very lucky to live and work here and if we can share just a fraction of the fascination of this extraordinary place, then the tour will enthral a great many people online."

Have great (if slightly damp) day.

Slapstick Funny Man Dies
Comedian Charlie Drake has died aged 81 following a long illness caused by two strokes. Announcing his death, Laurie Mansfield, Drake's manager for 37 years, said he was the "last of the great slapstick comedians". He starred in many television shows and films during the 1960s and 1970s and had a hit with the comic song My Boomerang Won't Come Back.
Drake died in his sleep at a home for entertainers in Twickenham, west London, where he had lived for about two years.

We wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and just in case you were wondering we have no live music listed for Christmas Day. Sing some carols instead!

Christmas shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How is the Christmas shopping going?
Judging by the hordes of shoppers in Yeovil on Friday, the shops are having a late surge of cash or credit cards through the tills. Today promises to be even busier so if you are planning on going shopping today...get there early.

Still trying to buy the ultimate gift?
Ice-cream fans can now get virtually their entire Christmas dinner made into the frozen dessert.
Harrods is launching three flavours: Brussels sprout, turkey and cranberry, and Christmas pudding.

They are available on request from an ice-cream parlour in its flagship Knightsbridge store

Have a fun day.

Still thinking about what gift to buy? If you are a smoker or know a smoker who wants to stop then get them the Gift Of Life. This a 4 hour seminar that runs in Bridgwater on Friday January 5th that will help up to 20 people become non-smokers.

Take look at the web site or call the information line 0845 121 4737 to check it out or book a space. It's a gift that last a lot longer than a pair of socks!
