So it's goodbye to George Best, the original football megastar. 1946 - 2005. There will be a minutes silence to mark his passing at football grounds across the country at 3pm today.
Elton John to Wed again!
SIR ELTON JOHN and his long-term partner David Furnish are to “marry” in a private ceremony with their parents as witnesses.
The couple’s big day was expected to be a star-studded occasion attended by their celebrity friends, but they have decided to keep the ceremony low-key, although they will follow it up with an evening reception.
Those with long memories may recal that last time he got hitched it was to a lady called Renate Blauel in 1984; he said he had realised before the ceremony that he was gay.
Take That are back!
Take that are back performing together (but without Robbie Williams). The question is, will anyone care enough to go and hear them? No? thought not!
